Obama, Being Presidential

The transcript of his speech on race, racism, and our flawed, though perfectible, union is here.

Can we get back discussing the candidates and what they bring to substantive issues in ways that either better define our problems, or point toward solutions now?

Cynematic is for less "he-said, she-said" negative campaigning, and for more running a good campaign, winning, and then being a good president. Her personal blog is P i l l o w b o o k.

Obama wants it both ways. He asks America to rise above race and religion, while hoping to appear religious himself. But he is in deep trouble if a spotlight is shined on his own THEOLOGY. See:

Christian Prophet,
What part of the speech in particular did you not like? Please cite chapter and verse from the text of the speech supplied above.

That speech made me cry.

Um, dude. I think Christian Prophet is a little confused about what Marxism is. Seriously.

I read his post. Was he trying to say that rich people are rich because they've accepted God into their lives? A sort of Divine Right of Rich Kids mixed with a meritocracy? He jumbled an awful lot of stuff in there.
