Go Read It: Elizabeth Edwards on Tony Snow's Death

It should not be a surprise to anyone that the always eloquent Elizabeth Edwards has a wonderful commentary on the passing of Tony Snow.

It's online at Newsweek, called Finding Common Cause,  and worth a read just to give us a reminder about what's really important, even in this heated political season.

Wise and respectful commentary by Elizabeth Edwards that emphasizes our commonalities. Thanks for finding this, PunditMom.

*thud*

That was the sound of my jaw hitting the floor over how incredibly awesome that piece by Elizabeth was.

Remind me again why we can't just elect her President of the World?

Elizabeth, as always, rocks!

Beautifully said, Mrs. Edwards.

Thanks for posting this PunditMom. Elizabeth gets to the heart of the matter: "So why do we have such trouble turning what we have in common into common cause?"

If we take a moment from all the knee-jerk reactions to the latest political gossip, it's clear that we're all people, families, husbands, wives, partners, friends, sisters, brothers, daughters, sons of someone and there is no reason why we shouldn't be able work together to find a cure. This thinking extends to so many situations in life and politics.

Chills. I have chills.

Elizabeth Edwards was going through radiation right along side my stepfather, literally. He's even mentioned in her book! Our whole family has a lot of affinity and respect for her. Bummer I can't call her my neighbor anymore since she moved to Chapel Hill.
