DNC Favorite Moments: Beau Biden's Introduction of Joe Biden

I am convinced the people putting together the DNC video packages are the same people that do those Olympic athlete ones. Each one of them—Michelle Obama's, Hillary Clinton's—has been an absolute tear-jerker. The opening strains of the music start and I am a puddle on the floor.

But this? This was something very different. As I have said before, I'm very pleased that Joe Biden is on the Democratic party ticket, but after hearing his son Beau Biden* speak last night and Joe speak shortly thereafter, I know we're in good hands. And that gives me...hope.

*It's worth noting that Beau Biden is set to be deployed to Iraq in October.
