She's actually not sounding like a complete moron! Although I can't believe she winked. WINKED. Who's she winking at???

I think she sounded robotic

Palin did not debate so much as recite from her talking points memo. This is where a list of unexpected challenging questions would have come in handy. No offense but I think Gwen Ifell's questions were lame and predictable. It would have been nice to see them both answer questions they didn't have memorized answers for. I think Kathleen Parker could have done a better job moderating this debate.

Winking.
Joe Six Pack.
I think she did well.
Joe Biden was great and I wonder why I was not more attracted to his knowledge in the primaries.

Do you REALLY know the Democrats as well as you think you do? I don't think you do! Here's how they brought on the economic crisis we now suffer from:

Hey Sandi in Az:
If you are one of those republicans who walk into a room pass gas and then leave this response may be meanngless. But on the off hand chance you are still lurking...
I watched your video. Basically it amounted to flashing large font words and news articles in quick succession accompanied by dramatic music. Impossible to make much out of it, as none of the articles were on the screen long enough to read. Even the large font words blinked by so quickly the audience could do little more than enjoy the nice classical score the imagery was set to. It is perfect for the average dull witted Republican who prefers drama to thoughtful analysis of the facts. We Democrats usually prefer our discourse on the deep side.

To anyone who couldn't get into the chat last night, or got kicked by CIL and couldn't get back in: our apologies. We had more people watching our livechat last night than ever before, and Cover It Live was at full capacity. We hope to get the technical kinks worked out before the next debate. We love to have our readers come and watch and participate in our live chats.

Thanks to everyone who stopped by the chat last night. As Jaelithe said, we seemed to max out the capacity on CoverItLive, and several of us were doing double duty as party hosts and moderators. We're sorry if your chats weren't getting through, or if you got booted (we did, too, fwiw).
We have approached CoverItLive about these problems, and asked that they increase the number of unmoderated participants from 10 for us, but they said no. They think the software should be used for group-blogging and not chats.
If anyone knows of another embeddable chat software that is FREE, please let us know. We love chatting with you!
