According to CNN's political ticker, John Edwards met with both Hillary Clinton and Barack Obama recently on endorsements. The article goes on to say that according to two friends of Elizabeth's, she's backing Obama. Not surprising, really, since Hillary's people threw a hissy when Elizabeth noted that she thought she had more joy in her life after she decided to stay home with her kids.
John Edwards has not formally endorsed anyone, but it would be interesting if the two of them disagreed on who to back.
UPDATE: After we posted this, Elizabeth Edwards commented that this information from CNN is not accurate. She has not endorsed anyone.
Sorry, Elizabeth! We hope that when you DO endorse someone, you'll let us know!
This is not accurate. I have not endorsed.

Elizabeth, we can't wait to hear when you do. So many of us have been devastated, torn, lost without you and John in the race. Who you think will do the best job will go a long way in helping me sort it out too.

Mrs. Edwards, if you are reading this, I want to second what Jen said. I am on tenterhooks waiting to see who you and John endorse. And I sincerely hope that John is apart of whichever administration takes the White House in November...though I hope it's Barack Obama's. When I think of what the two of them could accomplish together it fills me with emotion. How I miss John Edwards' voice in all of this. I hope you and he will not stop speaking out. You represent so many of us.

Dear Mrs. Edwards,
Even though I am an ardent Obama supporter I welled up when I heard your husband was dropping out. I really enjoyed watching him during the debates and I still believe the work both of you do for the poor is extremely noble.
I hope both of you endorse Barack Obama.

I hope she and John back Obama, too. I and everyone else I know who reluctantly left the Edwards' camp eventually found our way to the Obama camp.

I am SO interested in what she will decide. And whether she will let anyone know or just vote in private without any endorsement.

Endorsement, schmendorsement. I just hope that your health is OK, Mrs. Edwards, and thank you so much for all that you and your husband have done for shining bright lights onto parts of our country that need fixing. I'm an Edwards fan who voted Obama also.
