"McCain has faced questions about the contract because some of his current advisers lobbied last year for the European Aeronautic Defence and Space Co., the parent company of plane maker Airbus. EADS and its U.S. partner Northrop Grumman Corp. beat Boeing Co. for the lucrative aerial refueling contract.
McCain has said his inquiries into the contract were designed to ensure evenhanded bidding and denied they were motivated by lobbyists who are close advisers to his presidential campaign."
Um, oooookay.
Then there's this one, regarding his former involvement/sponsorship of campaign finance reform, but his current flight from regarding the legislation where his own campaign is concerned:
"[...] campaign finance reform advocates say they are distressed at what they see as McCain's abandonment of the issue at a time when supporters of reform most need bipartisan backing of efforts to control the influence of money in campaigns."
I don't know about the rest of you, but I've had more than enough of the falsehoods that roll outta the oval office like mercury rain.
McCain and Bush can go pretend to harvest brush while they're really just sneaking around, making out. I don't care. I just don't want their ilk anywhere near our government anymore.
I bet they are making out in the brush.
