Weekly Post Round Up (Or, writers we'd like to join for a playdate)

Every week or so (we like to keep our options open) the MOMocrats will share links from our readers and links to posts we've enjoyed around the Blogosphere. You don't have to agree with us 100%, but you do have to make us think. 

So, we give you the first ever MOMocrats weekly post round up:

Of course, we have to start off the round up with our own Joanne. She had a fantastic letter to the editor in the Wall Street Journal in response to their article about Dooce. Unfortunately, the edited all the good stuff about women bloggers and politics. It's almost as if they deliberately removed the word "politics" from Joanne's letter. Hey, thanks for the mention of our politics roundup! As moms, we need to show Washington that education may not be as sexy to the masses as Iraq, but it's something parents care about deeply. We're hoping to do a lot more commentary, especially on the differences between Democrats and Republicans when it comes to education. Thanks for noticing the work we do :)
