I'm at the sale rack at Eileen Fisher trying to get something
"gorgeous" for Denver but am breaking the bank with just "good enough."
Maybe it's me, not the clothes. Maybe I'll work on THAT the week AFTER
the convention. But wait, if I go with the short purple dress under
the black coat thingie paired with the black leggings, that just might
be the look I want.
Which means I'll need a new pair of black shoes...
Geez I'm not even positive how I'm getting to the airport tomorrow, I
have a pre-convention to-do list a mile long, and of course I have to
pack. It's going to be a long night.
But who needs sleep when we've got history to make? History to make...
And I just might be dressed for it.
Wow! You must be thoroughly excited. Is this your first convention? Now that we've been made privy to who Obama running mate is...none other than Joe Biden (I've always liked him)...it's going to be an interesting week.

Because we all know that the most important parts of covering a convention is to wear the right thing. Who needs substance, when you can have just form?
Blogs might change the way we see news, but I hope it is not to add even more vanality to the already superficial political discourse.
