I know many people were turned off by the snarky, mean-spirited tone of Earmark Queen Sarah Palin's speech last night and felt that, perhaps, a 15 minute tirade of attacks was a wee bit over the top. I say, Sarah, bring on the mean! More snark! Attack away! Sarah Palin being snarky will make it that much easier for Biden to take her down. If she were Laura Bush THEN he'd look bad. So people, stop complaining, and remember our new mantra: Snark is good!
What bothered me most about her speech last night was how factually inaccurate it was. Where the Republicans get off spewing such lies, I don't know. But since the McCain campaign isn't about the issues anymore, I guess anything goes. If you'd like to know the truth click here.

We just couldn't watch the entire "Secession Sarah" speech. It was like watching one bitchy neighbor running for town council spreading lies about her down-the-street opponent while throwing in a "Bless Her Heart" every so often to make it sound like she wasn't really spewing lies and hate.

I think Biden showed Class Not Crass when he responded to Sarah Palin's Speech last night at the RNC. Check it out at...

She went on the attack because she couldn't debate the issues.

Oh I agree. I thought I was being yelled at the whole time last night. She is demanding, rude, loud and lacks any sort of charisma.

Any of you familiar with the movie Singin' In the Rain? The one with the silent screen actress whose voice sounds like nails on a chalboard. I have worked in radio, done voice-overs, taken years of voice lessons, and coached speech. If I have to listen to that voice for the next 8 years I will take an icepick to my eardrums.
She is the epitome of ignorant, small townies (I live in one) who LIVE for power. We should be afraid, very afraid of this power hungry woman who would throw her own daughter to the wolves to further her own ambitions. Of course if Palin had her way there wouldn't be any wolves. She shoot them all out of an airplane.

I was extremely offended by the tone of her speech and very disappointed that she came across as so UNintelligent and rude. I can see why they chose her now. She fits right in with the inappropriate snickering made famous by Bush and adopted by Guiliani and McCain and the frat boy mentally of the entire crew.

I can't abide her, but I think we need to be careful in the descriptive language. We didn't like it when the GOP called Hillary "shrill," etc. We can attack her on her views, but when we start tossing the same words back at her that they threw at Clinton, not a good thing.

Sarah Palin is a "HEATHER", the snarky meangirl from high school who used her sarcastic humor to crush and humiliate any poor kid who crossed her path. Their speciality: comments like," OOOh, that's such a cuuute dress - I didn't know you shopped salvation army!" My skin crawled when I listened to her demeaning community organizers. If you have ever stood there, crushed, thinking, wow, I should have said _, then do your part now, and vote her away!

I can no longer take her speaking voice, it is quite shrill and sharp and yes I am a woman :( I find myself wanting to take a pan against her head when I listen to her at this point.
At first I thought she was a nice girl, but after hearing her mean spirited speech I changed my mind quickly. I also changed my mind about the Republican party when I saw them laugh at the idea of a community organizer. How can people like this be FOR THE PEOPLE! I was disappointed and turned off by this.
This is the first time I really got a LOOK at the conservative base and because of my deep disappointment by the desperation, manipulation, and lies I am now independent. I'm still not sure what I will do come election day, but I am waiting on the other interviews that O'Reilly has with Obama as well as the debates before I make a decision.
My main problem with Obama is trust. I need to hear his explaination for his associations and Bill will grill him hard tonight.
