I can't wait to hear the conservative pundits on the new EW cover that features John Stewart and Stephen Colbert parodying the controversial New Yorker magazine cover of a few months ago.
Rush Limbaugh: "...portrays Colbert sporting the uniform of the black terrorist organization that Michelle Obama is a known member of, and Stewart wearing the traditional Muslim garb of Obama's youth."
Sean Hannity: "Is it that EW hates McCain, or that they hate America?"
Bill O'Reilly: "Just seeing that John Stewart on the cover...well, suddenly I'm craving falafel."
Sarah Palin: "Well no, I'm not familiar with the original cover but, it's not like I'm some rich kid that my parents just gave me money to go buying magazines all over the place...and anyways because I'm an outsider and what this country needs is an outsider and New Yorker readers are really more of the same and then it's funny that they twist this magazine cover to...charac...to...to mock, right...well anyhow I'm a Washington outsider, a maverick, and I don't have any specific comments on the cover but I'll try to find some and I'll bring em to ya."
For some stuff that's actually funny, check out the interview in Entertainment Weekly.
Liz Gumbinner is the voice of Mom101 and is a little tired this morning from staying up late to watch Rachel Maddow after the debate.
Actual quote by Palin?

The Palin quote is brilliant.

She owns a dozen snowmobiles but no money for magazines...poor Sarah. I guess magazines are a tool of the elite.
What this points out, too, is that despite her all American mommy image, she does not frequent grocery stores...anyone in the checkout line could see the cover.

Liz, how did we not know that you used to be a speech writer for Palin?
