Dear Senator Obama,
On behalf of the MOMocrats, I'd like to say that the good thoughts and prayers of all the MOMocrats are with you and your family during this difficult time. How proud she must be of you to know that soon her grandson will be the next president of the United States.
Our hearts go out to you, your dear grandmother, Mrs. Dunham, Mrs. Obama, Malia, and Sasha.
We'll be helping to hold down the fort while you are gone.
Wishing you peace and much aloha,
The MOMocrats

So saddened at this news. You know how hard she must be trying to hold on to hear the words, "President Obama."
Heartfelt appreciation to this other deeply influential Grandmomocrat* who surely has had a guiding hand in shaping Senator Obama's big humanitarian heart, passion to serve, and solid American values.
*The other is Mrs. Robinson, Michelle Obama's mother.

I can vaguely imagine how Barack must feel. In my life, during hard times....even if my mother was far away, it felt like she was right there with me, I knew that no matter what, mom had my back. That is precious in tough times, love is always precious. I hope Senator Obama knows that there are millions of us who also have his back...albeit there is nothing like a mothers...or grandmothers love.
Senator, I say to you...the blessings of the Lord are upon you. Throughout it all you have been in my prayers daily. Each morning I wake up and pray for you with my prayer group... and you will remain in my prayers always. To the very depths of my soul I hope Toot gets to see you become president. More than anything however, I want Toot to be well, in body and in her heart. Be of a good courage Senator, and may God bless you dearly.
