The wonderful folks at Chicks and Frogs have kindly donated a darling onesie and hat from their Obama collection for a MOMocrats giveaway. The onesie is a 6-12month size so it's perfect for babies born (or due) around the time our new president (that would be President Obama) is elected.
The onesie is a deliciously soft and stretchy and made by American Apparel. It features a cheerful, child-friendly design. The cap is sure to keep baby's head toasty all winter. It's a $38 value and one lucky MOMocrat winner will get it for free!
All you have to do to win is comment below and finish this sentence "When Barack Obama is president..." Hateration will not be tolerated, after all, this is a baby gift we're talking about. Make sure your email works so we can contact you. We will pick a winner at random on Monday, October 29.

When Barak Obama is president, my son will grow up knowing and SEEing that anyone can achieve anything, regardless of race or class; even better, he will never understand why an African American president is a big deal because by age 8 it will be all he's' known (hopefully)--it will be the norm. How amazing is that?!?! While I could go on and on (he'll have better education, we'll be able to know we'll have health care, we'll have a chance at leaving him a non-dying planet for his future), the hope and optimism embodied in my first statement is what is most important to me.

With Barack Obama as President... My infant son will grow up as part of "Generation We" rather than "Generation Me."
..."Yes We Can" extends far beyond the election. It's our mantra for working together as one country (and one world). It's asking how it is that WE can help Barack as he is but one man (ask what you can do for your country), rather than waiting for someone to fix things for us. Together WE can!
No more short-term "me" gains (that are the root of our bleak economic status)... it's all about WE! :)
Someone should create a "Generation We" onesie!
