Go Watch It: Rachel Maddow Takes on Americans for Prosperity

In August, I wrote about how astroturfing groups funded by big business and staffed by GOP political operatives and corporate lobbyists — like the Koch Industries-funded group Americans for Prosperity — are influencing the national debate on health care by helping to organize and promote Tea Party gatherings and town hall protests at the local level.

Last night on MSNBC, Rachel Maddow took on Americans for Prosperity President Tim Phillips in a scathingly direct interview. damn, she went for it. what a disgustingly immoral human being he is. it's amazing how people who claim to be about truth can lie and manipulate so flagrantly. I'm glad she called him and the organization he leads on their BS.

Dirt bags like those at Americans for Prosperity need to be called out even more. They have gotten away with this crap for years and I'm glad we have some that are willing to take them on with facts. When presented with the facts they and their lies and stories crumble.
