PBS NewsHour if offering a special election day online-only live show tonight, starting at 9 p.m. CST.
(I know the standard is to use either EST or PST, but hey, I'm writing the post and I'm CST, so...for once, my time zone! Heh)
According to NewsHour, "It's the first time we have done a broadcast-style show (complete with legendary political columnists Mark Shields & David Brooks) wholly online - and we're hoping to make it a big success. All you have to do is . . .join the conversation. For a full rundown of our multi-platform, election-night plans, click here."
Their coverage is also available on Facebook, and they'll be live blogging the election beginning at 4:45 CST until the very end.
I, for one, have given up on local and cable news actually brining anything significant or news worthy to the broadcast, so I am happy to have a trusted, reliable alternative!
Join in!
thank you for your post
